Tents Puzzle Online: Complete Rules and Strategy Guide
Tents is a classic deduction puzzle. Your goal is to place tents so every tree is paired with exactly one adjacent tent, while all row and column tent counts are satisfied.
How to Play Tents
- Each tree must connect to one tent in the four orthogonal directions.
- No two tents may touch, including diagonally.
- The numbers on the top and left edges show how many tents belong in each line.
- Use grass marks to exclude impossible cells and keep deductions clear.
Winning Rules
- All trees are paired one-to-one with tents.
- All row and column counts match exactly.
- No tent violates the non-touching rule.
Practical Solving Tips
- Start with rows or columns that have very small or very large clue numbers.
- If a line already reached its clue, all remaining empty cells in that line are grass.
- When a tree has only one valid adjacent location left, that cell must be a tent.
- Use the Hint button when stuck to reveal the next logically safe move.
