Game Introduction
rules
- Each neighboring block pair must be connected by exactly the required stitch count for the mode.
- A stitch connects two orthogonally adjacent cells from different blocks.
- Two stitches cannot share the same cell — each cell is used by at most one stitch.
- Top and left clues show endpoint totals for each row and column.

- Tap/click border: toggle stitch on or off.
- Right-click border: toggle a red blocked mark.
- Tap/click cell: add note marks (• or ×).
- Use Check, Hint, and New Game from the toolbar.
scoring
Faster solutions with fewer moves and fewer hints produce stronger scores. Running Check earlier helps catch clue mismatches before they compound.
tips
- Resolve one neighbor-block pair at a time and track its exact target count.
- Watch endpoint rows/columns after every stitch because clue drift is easier to fix early.
- Use red border marks to exclude impossible options without changing rule semantics.
- If stuck, run Check first, then spend one Hint for a deterministic correction.

Why does Check fail even with many stitches placed?
You may have wrong pair totals, a shared cell conflict, or outside clue mismatches.
Do red marks affect validation?
No. They are notes only and are ignored by rule checks.
Can Hint change blocked edges?
Yes. Hint can clear or set one border to the target state for the generated puzzle.
